Filler: Areas of Treatment
Now offering RADIESSE®(+) Dermal Fillers!
The first and only CaHA injectable treatment in the U.S. Calcium hydroxylapatite, or CaHA, is what makes Radiesse unique as an injectable aesthetic treatment. It’s the first and only CaHA portfolio available that provides both immediate, natural-looking results and long-term improvement—a year or more in many patients
-
Radiesse and Radiesse (+) are dermal fillers that are FDA-approved to smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (the creases that extend from the corner of your nose to the corner of your mouth) and for correcting volume loss in the back of the hands.
-
Upon injection, the Radiesse CaHA gel matrix provides immediate improvement.
CaHA particles then integrate into your skin and create a “scaffold” that stimulates production of collagen and elastin.
As the gel carrier breaks down, a firm network of collagen fibers forms.
Formed collagen and elastin replaces the correction provided by the gel carrier, smoothing lines and promoting renewed skin structure.
-
Smile lines, corners of the mouth, marionette lines, pre-jowl folds, chin wrinkles, hands (restoring volume loss and minimizing the visibility of veins and tendons, and improve jawline contour.
-
Immediately upon injection, Radiesse helps smooth out lines and wrinkles.
The natural-looking results last a year or more in many patients.
-
Common side effects of Radiesse or Radiesse (+) include bruising, redness, swelling, pain, itching at the site of injection

Topical anesthetic is applied and allowed to sit for up to 20 minutes to provide comfort. I add small amounts of hyaluronic acid gel with lidocaine into the vermilion borders of the lips, columns between the lip and nose, and the pillows of the lips to provide a full youthful appearance.
Typically, a full syringe is recommended for your first treatment session. People usually touch up with half a syringe.
Results are seen immediately and final results are apparent in 5-10 days.
-
Small amounts of filler (approximately one syringe per cheek) are injected into the deep tissue along the cheekbone.
This is typically a painless procedure and topical anesthesia is required. If anesthesia is desired as well, both topical and injectable anesthesia options are available.
This enhances the cheeks to provide a youthful appearance and defined cheekbones and provide support/lift. As the filler integrates into the skin, it draws moisture and continued volume can be seen up to one week when final results are present.
-
Typically between 1-2 syringes are injected to lift and fill the lines between the nose and the mouth that create deep creases and give the appearance of aging and loose skin. Results are fairly instant and continue to progress as the filler integrates and draws moisture.
-
Oftentimes people have scars from acne, chickenpox or other childhood accidents that left deep grooves.
Scars typically take 2-3 sessions to fill. Treatment consists of one syringe used during all three sessions to fill scars.
-
Typically between 1-2 syringes of filler are carefully injected using a thin, blunt cannula just below the lachrymal duct and into the medial cheek.
This is an overall painless procedure. Patient should plan for some bruising that will fade over a week and final results are seen 7-10 days after injections.
This will not eliminate dark circles and isn't recommended for people with heavy bags under their eyes as this could make things worse.
For people with excessive skin and bags, I recommend lower lid blepharoplasty by a plastic surgeon or ophthalmologist.

A soft-looking chin and jaw can be caused by age or genetics. Jawline fillers can add definition, symmetry, balance, or contour to this area, especially in the profile. The jaw filler procedure is also referred to as nonsurgical jawline contouring.
Jawline contouring treatment with dermal fillers requires little to no downtime and patients typically resume regular activities the same day. Patients can expect mild swelling and tenderness at the injection site, which will generally resolve within a few days. Results will be visible immediately, will improve as swelling decreases, and will typically last up to 24 months.

Sick of that bump on your nose? A liquid rhinoplasty may be right for you!
A liquid rhinoplasty or nonsurgical rhinoplasty, is the injection of dermal fillers into the nose to alter its shape, making it smoother, perkier and overall narrower.
It's a great option for patients that have isolated deformities of their nose, like a dorsal hump or minor asymmetries or those who want instant results.
Results typically last 6 months up to 2 years, depending on the type of filler used and the individual.

Temple filler reduces the appearance of aging and rejuvenates the upper face from hallowing. It’s important to rejuvenate the upper face as we age because of volume depletion in the upper face.
Filler adds volume to the temple area and plumps the skin up. This helps stretch out the skin and reduce the appearance of hollowness and aging around the temples, eyes, and forehead.
